I mean it really grew and I was pleased. But then a few months after having my baby I noticed some shedding. It was very traumatic. Don’t panic! It is only a temporary situation
The bottom line is that this excessive shedding is just temporary, and there is nothing you can do about it. The majority of women see their hair return to its original state. Hence panicking does not help.

Remember I told you how my hair was so full and healthy during the pregnancy; well did you know that during the pregnancy, the hormones estrogen, progesterone, prolactin, oxytocin increases causing a remarkable shine and luster in the hair that we all love? Your blood volume also escalates to further these changes.
Several of your hormone levels, including estrogen and progesterone, drop rapidly after your baby is born. Within 24 hours of giving birth, those hormones will be almost back to normal. Your prolactin levels will remain high as long as you’re breastfeeding.

- Avoid heating your hair: Hair that has been heated with a dryer or a curling iron can appear thinner and can cause more falling out. Hold off on doing something fancy with your hair and let it air dry before the thinning stops.
- Brush with ease: Brushing your hair too hard will cause it to fall out in larger clumps, so be careful when brushing and just brush once a day. You should spend the extra time cuddling your baby or sleeping!
- It’s really a case of experimentation when it comes to finding the right shampoo and conditioner for thin hair. There isn’t a single ingredient that distinguishes one volumizing shampoo or conditioner for fine hair from another.
- Change up your hairstyle: Some haircuts give the appearance of fuller hair. An expert stylist will advise you about what would work best for you.
Short hair is preferred by many new mothers. A short haircut will make hair appear fuller.
Eat well: Including a variety of fruits, vegetables, and healthy proteins in your diet is the best way to make sure your body is getting all the nutrients it needs.
